Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum offers a hands-on introduction to STEM and transportation history through interactive exhibits and restored rail equipment. Families can ride trolley car No. 10—built in 1896 and now fully restored—operate an antique handcar, explore a caboose, and experiment with model trains in the kid-friendly Visitor Center. The museum brings engineering concepts to life while highlighting the role of railroads in rural community development. Located near the Bridge of Flowers, it’s a dynamic setting for exploring motion, mechanics, design, and the human stories behind public transportation. – Open from 11am-5pm on weekends & holidays from Memorial Day weekend through the end of Oct.
