In June, Western MA becomes alive with strawberries. Strawberry season can be fleeting, so it’s best to be prepared to get out into your community and enjoy this sweet season while it lasts! In the face of any harvest time, community-based education opportunities emerge. Strawberry picking is a fantastic annual community engagement event where families dot fields all over Western MA to pick-their-own berries.
