The bound and printed version of Robert Shetterly’s travelling exhibition, Americans Who Tell the Truth, showcases a great many people whose words of truth have made a significant impact on our country and our culture. Featuring greats like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., alongside lesser known (but equally as important) activists, writers, artists, and other truth tellers of all kinds, this book can lead readers to deepen their understanding of the idea of truth and what it takes to make an impact. The book and its accompanying guide can be used to study themes relating to the observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. day this January.
