Looking for a summer adventure the whole family will love? The Mount, Edith Wharton’s Home, offers Free Kids & Family Sundays weekly from June through August! Each week features lively concerts, interactive storytime, arts & crafts, playful sculpture walks, creative movement, and writing workshops for budding young authors. Kids can wiggle, giggle, create, and explore while grown-ups relax in the beautiful surroundings. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic and unwind on the sweeping lawns or enjoy lunch at the Terrace Café. The gardens, wooded trails, and outdoor sculptures are free and open from dawn to dusk. Yoga Classes at the Co-op will take place at their Northampton location and will include a wide variety of classes for all skill levels. No prior yoga experience is necessary. The Summer Family Programs at the Co-op will take place at their Easthampton location on select Thursdays. Community Action Pioneer Valley’s Head Start & Early Learning Program
Head Start & Early Learning Programs (HS&ELP) partners with families in all that they do and believe that parents are the experts on their children. Together, they build a solid foundation for resilient and resourceful caregivers; caring, confident, and curious children; and responsive, invested communities. HS&ELP creates engaging early learning experiences for young children in a mix of part-day and full-day classrooms across the region.
