Nature & Nurture Preschool is an inclusive, nature and play-based early learning experience. The owner and teacher, Alyssa Taft, has a master’s degree in special education and many years of experience as a teacher, paraprofessional, and nanny. With a focus on developmentally appropriate and play-based learning, the curriculum engages students and families and encourages growth while having fun. Students attend Nature & Nurture four days per week. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in their child’s education through field trips, volunteer opportunities, and family-teacher conferences throughout the year. The school also communicates with parents daily through the Brightwheel App, plus monthly newsletters.
