Play is essential to healthy childhood development, so why not learn through play? The Nature Discovery Preschool Series at the Hitchcock Center invites children and caregivers to explore nature together through hands-on, nature-based learning. Classes meet on alternating Friday mornings each spring and fall and focus on a theme appropriate to the season. Each session begins indoors with table activities, crafts, and circle time, then moves outdoors for an adventure featuring exploration, hands-on activities, and a story. Children spend two hours learning through activities and play. Perfect for curious preschoolers who love to move, create, and explore. An adult must attend.
