Summer at The Carle kicks off with new exhibitions, extended hours, special story times, live music, and food! On Sunset Thursdays in July and August, The Museum is open until 8pm. On July 17, a special Sunset Thursday event welcomes the Chinese Association of Western Mass for a medley of activities celebrating Chinese art and Culture—a perfect complement to the special exhibition, The Art of Grace Lin: Meeting a Friend in an Unexpected Place. Join The Carle for special artist and author programs, including storytimes with Regina Linke (July 5), creator of the beloved comic, The Oxherd Boy, and Winsome Bingham and C.G. Esperanza (July 12) for their new book, Fish Fry Friday! Become a member and visit free all summer: www.carlemuseum.org.
