The Amherst BID’s free Summer Concert Series returns to the Town Common on Fridays from 5–8pm, starting July 10 through August 7. This family-friendly lineup features HWY 91 & Downtown Amherst Contra Dance (July 10), The Berkshires & Musewell Hillbillies (July 17), UMass Jazz All Stars (July 24), The Gemstones & The Hendersons Blues Band (July 31), plus a special concert at the Emily Dickinson Homestead (Aug 7), beginning at 5:30pm. Pair the show with dinner from a nearby restaurant, then enjoy local beer, wine, cider, or non-alcoholic beverages from the cash bar on the Common.
