The 35th Annual Chester On Track takes place Saturday, May 16, 2026, bringing history and community together in downtown Chester, MA, with a 10am parade, train show, craft fair, and hands-on experiences at the historic 1840 railroad station museum. Families can explore vintage railcars, steam and engine demos, blacksmithing, and a new 1946 Pullman dining car, or head outdoors for hikes to stone arch bridges along a National Wild & Scenic River. The day also includes live music, a petting zoo, story walk, archery, and the Chester Fire Department Duck Race at 2pm. Free (donations welcome).
