Youth Performance Festival
Now in its seventh year, the Youth Performance Festival offers a free chance for young artists ages 8 to 18 to create original performances with help from mentors in music, dance, theater, poetry, and animation. YPF puts young artists at the center and supports them as they explore their own creative paths. This year, 49 youth from towns across the Valley have worked with mentors in Holyoke and Northampton over seven weekends to develop their own pieces. Everyone in the community is welcome to join this festival that celebrates the arts and brings together people of all ages. – YPF is a joint program of Play Incubation Collective and the Northampton Center for the Arts, working with Holyoke Media.
