Water Chestnut Pull at Lake Warner
Paddling Lake Warner becomes an act of stewardship during this hands-on effort to remove invasive water chestnut. As volunteers scan the surface and gently pull plants before they seed, they engage in real-time observation of aquatic ecology and local biodiversity. This experience supports service-based learning while building awareness of how small actions can support the resilience of freshwater ecosystems. Pre-registration is required.
