Origami for Kids

Children are invited to join this origami session, where learning and fun come together. With step-by-step guidance, participants will make origami creations and discover math concepts like symmetry, fractions, and geometry. Origami also introduces cultural traditions, such as the meaning of folded cranes as symbols of peace and celebration. As part of STE(A)M, folding shows how engineering and design are used in areas like robotics and space travel, while encouraging creativity and problem-solving. Everyone will take home a handmade decoration and a new appreciation for how art, math, and science connect.
