LEGO Clubs
What can a pile of LEGO bricks teach us about design, problem-solving, and community? At local libraries, LEGO Clubs give kids a chance to explore by building and thinking through their ideas. As they create, they try out different ways to balance and arrange pieces, learning to stick with it even when things don’t work right away. Sitting together at shared tables, kids of all ages talk and work together. Whether they follow a set of instructions or come up with their own designs, this open-ended activity helps them learn through creative free-play.
Here are community-based opportunities happening on Mondays at our local libraries, offering space for kids to gather and learn with others:
- Athol: LEGO Club at the Athol Public Library
- Greenfield: Kids’ LEGO Club at the Greenfield Public Library (through August 3, 2026)
- Northampton: LEGO Club at the Forbes Library (through May 4, 2026)
- South Hadley: LEGO and Board Games at the South Hadley Public Library (through May 27, 2026)
