A Magic: The Gathering (MTG) Club for tweens and teens is an engaging platform for interdisciplinary learning and social development. MTG encourages players to think ahead, evaluate probabilities, and make strategic decisions. Players aged 10 and up must assess their hand, anticipate their opponent’s moves, and adapt their strategies in real-time. This fosters skills in logic, foresight, and problem-solving. Although the game is based on fantasy, the skills it develops are rooted in real-world competencies. Participants are welcome to bring their own cards; however, if you don’t have any, the library will provide pre-made decks for use during the sessions. Meets biweekly in the Community Room.
