Lunar New Year Festival
Paper lanterns, music, and dance define this annual Lunar New Year celebration organized by the Asian Cultural Center of Vermont. Hands-on activities introduce traditions from East and Southeast Asian cultures, including Chinese songs, Korean rope tug, t’ai chi, and a Vietnamese dragon dance. Both participation and observation foster understanding of symbolism, rhythm, and the significance of seasonal holidays across cultures. Activities are designed for all ages.
