Summer at Hancock Shaker Village
Summer at Hancock Shaker Village is full of hands-on ways to connect with history. Families can meet baby animals in the barns, help tend heirloom gardens filled with strawberries, thyme, and sage, or try traditional skills like weaving and spinning in the Discovery Barn. Outside, the shady Farm and Forest Trail winds through pastures and woods with signs that share how the Shakers used the land. From herb gardens to heritage tools, each part of the Village invites all ages to learn together, bringing the Shaker way of life into the rhythm of a summer day. – Free museum passes may be available to borrow from your local library.
