Kidleidoscope Story Hour – Chipmunks
A fun way for parents and caregivers to introduce young children (ages 3–6) to literacy and animal behavior through stories, hands-on activities, and creative play. A chipmunk-themed story sparks curiosity and enhances vocabulary and listening skills while connecting language to real animals in the Connecticut River Watershed. Activities and crafts boost comprehension and encourage discussion about what children have learned. Weather permitting, outdoor explorations foster curiosity about animal habitats and behaviors, sparking an early interest in ecology and local fauna.
