Art & Photography at Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary
Arcadia’s Art House, nestled in the forest along the Tulip Tree Trail, invites visitors to paint, sketch, collage or photograph the wildlife-rich landscape. With art supplies on-site and portable packs to borrow, you can wander the four miles of trails, pausing to frame seasonal textures, from marsh reeds to birdsong-lit canopies. Fun fact: bird-themed art has shaped conservation since John James Audubon’s work inspired the formation of Mass Audubon over a century ago. Hands-on creation supports curiosity and close observation of the natural world, turning each brushstroke or photo into a personal reflection of place. – Self-service, drop-in programs run spring through fall.
