Shelburne Falls Fourth of July Parade & Chicken BBQ
Celebrate the Fourth of July with a hometown parade and community barbecue in Shelburne Falls. Beginning near the old Buckland Maintenance Department, the parade crosses the historic iron bridge and ends at the elementary school, where the Shelburne Grange hosts a chicken barbecue. Shared meals like this have long helped rural communities stay connected, offering more than food. They create space for stories, memory, and reflection, rooted in traditions that deepen a sense of place.
- The parade lines up at 10:30am, steps off at 11:30am, and is followed by a BBQ at 12pm.
