Resilient Community Arts

Artists in grades 2nd-5th are invited to explore animals in all kinds of environments during this 5-week afterschool session. Using T.A.B. teaching methods, students will be introduced to art-making techniques ranging from painting, paper mache, wire sculpture, drawing, printmaking, and more. Students then spend their studio time applying what they’ve learned to create whatever they’d like – a stuffed polar bear, a sculpture of what a shark eats in a day, a diorama of a wolf’s habitat – anything is possible! The session concludes with a student art show to celebrate their hard work! Registration includes a snack and all art materials.
