Set to a musical score by Camille Saint Saens, PVB’s The Little Mermaid tells the story of a mermaid willing to give up her life in the ocean & her identity as a mermaid to gain a human soul & the love of a human prince. A Sea Witch helps her reach the human realm, but on land, the mermaid faces dangers & a strict deadline. Will she win the love of her prince before time runs out & she is reduced to sea foam? Winter Puppet Camp
with Sandglass Theater

Join Sandglass Theater for five days of puppet building over winter break, play-making, and show creation for ages 8-14. Delve into the magical world of the marionette circus! Kids will explore basic marionette and rod puppets by picking the circus acts of their choice and developing scenes, culminating in a final performance for friends and family. Taught by Jana Zeller and Shoshana Bass. The camp will take place in Sandglass Theater’s own space located at 17 Kimball Hill in the heart of Putney, Vermont.
