Moon hugs and star kisses! Our friend Charity Kahn from Charity and the JAMband in San Francisco wishes us all a Happy Valentine’s Day in this archived episode of the Hilltown Family Variety Show which originally aired for Valentine’s Day on Valley Free Radio in 2012

Guest DJ Jason Didner, a children’s musician, leader of the Jungle Gym Jam, spins a collection of holiday music that he and his family enjoy. You’ll hear performances by independent children’s musicians and a few household names too. You’ll hear timeless holiday classics and some original numbers written by some of these performers to get you in the spirit. Songs will celebrate winter fun, Christmas, Hanukkah and the joy of an occasional “snow day” off.

With a song list that includes Sly and the Family Stone, Billie Holiday, the Civil Wars, Adele, Lucienne Boyer and a sprinkling of Milkshake tunes from the band’s CD, “Got a Minute?” the show is sure to reward big ears and inspire discussion.
