Smith College Campus School, a coeducational day school enrolling children kindergarten through sixth grade, will be hosting an Open House for prospective kindergarten and first grade students and their parents on Saturday, November 7, from 9:30-11am. Come explore classrooms, see what their students are learning, and meet teachers, administrators and current parents. Calling all creatures, beasts, and things that go bump in the night to the Odyssey Bookshop’s Monster Mash! Debut picturebook author Karin Lefranc visits the store for some post-Halloween fun on Saturday, November 7th at 11am! Lefranc’s book, I Want to Eat Your Books!, is about a zombie who devours books instead of brains, and attendees will enjoy all manner of monster snacks, crafts, and even some Halloween-themed yoga, taught by the author herself, a certified kids yoga teacher. If you haven’t had enough of Halloween, come on down and get your fill—and there just might be some leftover Halloween candy, too! Adam and Kristin Marshall from The Bazillions enjoyed guest hosting the Hilltown Family Variety Show by challenging each other to a song off. Each of them chose their favorites from categories like best educational song, best remake, best bedtime song and many more. They both shared little musical information tidbits about some categories along the way with a lot of laughs! Tune in to see who wins.
