The talk will begin with talking with youngest kids, and progress through teens. The Garden: A Center for Grieving Children and Teens opens its spring session on Feb. 3rd. Families with young children who have experienced the death of a close family member are invited to attend a bi-weekly groups. A participant recently reported, “The Garden is a group of compassionate and caring people who have helped me see that I am not alone in the fight of dealing with loss. Their humor is uplifting and helps me see hope for the days to come.” Participants ages 5-12 meet in small groups where they do activities, projects and games that support their grieving process while adult caregivers meet in a support group.
