Think Snow! Winter Trails Day at Notchview

Due to lack of snow Winter Trails day has been rescheduled for February 11, 2012.

Winter Feels Good: A Day of Winter Family Fun

Notchview, a cross country skiing and snowshoeing center located in Windsor, MA, is hosting their annual Winter Trails day on January 7th, 2012!  The event takes place from 10am-3pm, and is full of opportunities for families to work on their ski and showshoe skills!  There will be free cross country skiing lessons at 10:30am and 1:30pm, a ski waxing workshop at 11am, and showshoes are available to rent for free for adventures up to two hours long!

Trail passes are half price for the day, and there are miles of trails to explore.

Notchview also has an orienteering game where skiers practice their map-reading skills and test their sense of direction!  The event is sure to be fun for skiers and showshoers of all ages and abilities- it can be a fun day of practice, or a great first time!  Don’t forget to dress warmly.  For more information, call Notchview at 413-684-0148 or visit www.notchview.org.
