Hancock Shaker Village’s 14th annual Country Fair promises fun for the whole family with Shaker-inspired games in the Kids Tent, a farmers’ market with samples of heirloom vegetables to taste, vendors and demonstrations of handmade crafts, wagon and pony rides, antique engines and tractors, a pie contest, live music and more.

At the Country Fair, more than 70 vendors will fill the Village with fresh produce, finished farm products, fine crafts of all sorts, and antiques. The Farmers’ Market tents will boast vegetables, flowers, maple sugar treats, and hand-made cheeses. Artisans will sell furniture, Shaker-style oval boxes, original paintings, candles, and hand-woven textiles.

At the Kids Tent, Hancock Shaker Village interpreters will lead a host of fun activities, including crafts, old-fashioned games, and face painting. There will be wagon rides through the scenic Village grounds and, of course, a hay pile to jump and play on and pony rides
