Celebrate the Gift of Family with The Giving Tree!

Drop by the YMCA in Northampton, MA from November 26th to December 15th, 2010 to participate in their Giving Tree and share the spirit of the holidays with a deserving young family.
The Hampshire Regional YMCA and YWCA of Western MA have a great opportunity for families to give to other families in need this holiday season. The HRYMCA writes:
Help the Hampshire Regional Y, in partnership with the YWCA of Western Massachusetts, bring holiday cheer into the homes of struggling young families by participating in our Giving Tree!
The YWCA’s PAGE Program (Pregnant Adolescent Girl’s Education) is designed to encourage and assist young parents who have overcome debilitating tragedy and abuse.
Committed to making a better life for themselves and their children, these courageous young people have limited resources and some do not have a stable place to live. Through PAGE they participate in regular parenting support groups, skills development workshops and actively pursue their education.
Giving is as easy as 1, 2, 3…
- Choose your ornament from the tree: The Giving Tree will be set up in the front lobby of the Y. Each ornament hanging on the tree represents a child or a young mother from one family.
- Register your ornament with the front desk staff.
- Bring your unwrapped gift back to the Y by December 15th , 2010: Once you bring us your gift, we will make sure it is wrapped and delivered. And that’s it!
Drop by the Y from November 26 to December 15, 2010 to participate in our Giving Tree and share the spirit of the holidays with a deserving young family.
