Local Library to Host Bilingual Cinco de Mayo Children’s Concert
Cinco de Mayo Children’s Concert with Mister G at Whately Library
A free bilingual Cinco de Mayo celebration with local musician and educator Mister G will be hosted by the Whately Library on Wednesday, May 5th, 2010 at 6pm. A concert guaranteed to delight children (and adults) of all ages!
Mister G, a.k.a. Ben Gundersheimer, has a Masters in Education from Smith College, a BA in English from Amherst College, and over twenty years experience as a performing musician and recording artist. Ben began blending his love of music and education in the late 1990s. He has toured extensively throughout the United States and Canada and his songs have been featured in television programs around the world. Well traveled and fluent in Spanish – he will perform songs to help celebrate Cinco de Mayo “Mister G…has a great combination of silliness, musicality, gentleness and warmth, and the other key ingredient; an authentic belief in making sure kids have fun!”
