Seth Isman, Economic Development Director at the Hilltown CDC in Chesterfield, MA writes:
A rush of vendors are signing up for the Hilltown Spring Festival, taking place on May 15th, 2010 from 10am- 6pm at the Cummington Fairgrounds in Cummington, MA. Seven more sign-ups came in just today. Among the newest vendors to register are:
- Paper Stone Letterpress Printing of Chesterfield, MA (paperstoneprinting.com). One recent customer said “I love your originality and creativity. It’s great to find paper products with such a personal touch. Beautiful work by talented people.”
- Manda Organic Farm of Plainfield, MA (mandafarm.com). A 99 year old lifelong farmer said “That was the best pork I have tasted in my entire life. I could even chew it with these old choppers of mine.”
- Smarty Pants Project of Shelburne, MA (smartypantsproject.org), making funky, affordable children’s pants. “If everyone dressed like this we might achieve world peace … or at least smile a lot more.”
- Green River Ambrosia of Greenfield, MA (greenriverambrosia.com), makers of mead, “the oldest alcoholic beverage known to man. Beloved by Vikings everywhere. Drink what Beowulf drank.”
