A rush of vendors are signing up for the Hilltown Spring Festival, taking place on May 15th, 2010 from 10am- 6pm at the Cummington Fairgrounds in Cummington, MA. Seven more sign-ups came in just today. Among the newest vendors to register are:

• Paper Stone Letterpress Printing of Chesterfield, MA (paperstoneprinting.com). One recent customer said “I love your originality and creativity. It’s great to find paper products with such a personal touch. Beautiful work by talented people.”
• Manda Organic Farm of Plainfield, MA (mandafarm.com). A 99 year old lifelong farmer said “That was the best pork I have tasted in my entire life. I could even chew it with these old choppers of mine.”
• Smarty Pants Project of Shelburne, MA (smartypantsproject.org), making funky, affordable children’s pants. “If everyone dressed like this we might achieve world peace … or at least smile a lot more.”
• Green River Ambrosia of Greenfield, MA (greenriverambrosia.com), makers of mead, “the oldest alcoholic beverage known to man. Beloved by Vikings everywhere. Drink what Beowulf drank.”

More vendors are welcome. The family friendly Hilltown Spring Festival is a combination one-day Music Festival, Hilltown Food Festival, Focus on Sustainable Living, and Art and Craft Fair, with children’s activities, including this year a Kids-Made Crafts Bazaar. Admission for visitors is free, parking is $10.
