GRHS Student Council Sponsoring Annual Food Drive

– The Gateway Regional High School Student Council is sponsoring its annual Food Drive to assist local families. Collections will begin on November 3rd and continue through November 19th. Students will bring donations to the cafeteria during lunch, where student council members will be available to collect items.

This event will also serve as a competition between the grades to see which class brings in the most items. Spirit points will be awarded to each class based on the number of items each class collects. Competitions are held between the classes all year, with the winning class earning the Spirit Trophy for the year.

Students are advised NOT to bring in expired food items. They will be discarded and will not count toward each class’s spirit points.
