Litter Picking for Earth Day on the Washington Mall in front of the National Capitol Building.

For school vacation we made a road trip to Washington, D.C., and on Earth Day we found ourselves on the Washington Mall. With bags in hand we went around the Mall and picked up trash, an agreement we made with my daughter's school. She LOVED the adventure of scouting for trash and the accomplishment of filling up her bag. - Share with us what your family did for Earth Day in the comment box below!
