Hilltown Businesses Wanted for the 2009 Hilltown Spring Festival in May
Seth Isman, Economic Development Director at the Hilltown CDC in Chesterfield, MA writes:
Dear Hilltown Business:
On Saturday, May 30, at the Cummington Fairgrounds, the Hilltown CDC will celebrate the Hilltowns with the third annual Hilltown Spring Festival.
We invite you to join us at the Festival this year. The Spring Festival provides a Hilltown showcase for local musicians, artists, craftspeople, businesses, restaurants, non-profit organizations and students. There will be a special area for a “Focus on Sustainability” and many children’s activities. We will join together to present our work to each other and to a growing Hilltown audience, to celebrate our communities, and to have a great time.
In addition to displaying your work, you are invited to provide brief informative presentations about your field of expertise. Space will be provided for these, either next to your booth or in a designated area. A program listing of all these presentations will be provided to attendees.
Last year almost a thousand people attended to eat, shop, listen to music, schmooze, and play. Admission is free, with a parking fee of $8 per car. Publicity will include posters, postcards, our newsletter to every household in the hilltowns, and many press releases to the media about various aspects of the Festival.
We hope you will decide to join us. Don’t miss this great opportunity to sell, show, network, demonstrate or describe what you do! Both covered and outdoor spaces are available. [Email for an application: firstname.lastname@example.org] And please pass this information on to anyone else you know who may be or should be interested.
Please contact me if you have any questions. Happy spring!
