Brand new music by The Hollow Trees. Folk Music for Families. Upbeat acoustic Americana for everyone with great mix of old-time chestnuts, obscure gems, and fun new original songs. Inspired by bluegrass, country, and folk music from days gone by, The Hollow Trees perform versions of many well known and obscure old classics, as well as originals music which help explain some of The Hollow Trees’ mythology.

The Hollow Trees’ universe revolves around the Hollow Tree and it’s resident nelson. The Hollow Tree grows in themiddle of a magic meadow, hidden inside an enchanted forest which is located on the outskirts of the town of Nelsonville. Many of the Trees’ original songs tell stories about Nelson and his friends and fellow residents of Nelsonville.

    I live in Ashfield, MA, and I’d love to hear this CD and see if there are any songs I could use in my Music Together and Kids’ Jam classes. Thanks for putting me in the drawing Sienna, and for hosting such a wonderful website!

    bluegrass and old timey music is my fav! 3 years of banjo lessons pre pregnancy enamored with these genres of music.

    oh!!! i love BLUEGRASS!!!!!enter me please..i grew up with my granddad having an annual bday party in sept, and it was a night filled with bluegrass/gospel/country music and dancing on a handmade ”platform” as we called it….love the memories still 40 years later…thanks for this super contest!!!
