River Valley Market CO-OP Update

Co-op information night this Thursday @ the Florence Civic Center, 7 pm
Come learn the latest co-op news and join the co-op as a founding member-owner! Our next information night is this Thursday, February 28, at 7:00 pm at Florence Civic Center (Main St. in Florence, next to Lilly Library). The first 25 people to arrive will receive a free bar of organic, fair trade Equal Exchange chocolate. Refreshments will be served.
Anyone can shop at the co-op, and we will accept new memberships at any time. But now is a great time to join. If you join by March 2nd, the end of our pre-opening member-owner drive, you’ll receive a free large recycled cotton grocery tote manufactured in New Hampshire. And everyone who joins before the store opens this spring gets their name on the founding member-owner wall. You can join at one of this week’s events, by mail, or online via PayPal. Learn more about co-op membership at the RVM website.
Sneak a peek at the Sneak Preview this Sunday, March 2nd from noon to 4 pm
Come down to the co-op site this Sunday from noon to 4 and take a guided tour of the store. Look around and see where you’ll be buying your fresh local food this spring!
The Sneak Preview will feature live music from Appalachian Still and onsite broadcasting from WRSI/WHMP. After your tour, enjoy free hot cider and popcorn, homemade treats, and a sample of Bart’s Homemade Ice Cream. While you’re at it, visit the Outreach Table and (if you haven’t already done so) join the co-op.
Bring your friends! Tell them about this special opportunity to check out the co-op and meet members of the management team. If they join at the Sneak Preview, they’ll get to take home a recycled cotton grocery tote -AND- get in under the wire to have their names on the Founding Member-Owners’ wall!
