RENEWABLE ENERGY SELF-GUIDED SITE TOUR

If your family is interested in discovering renewable energy sources for your home, the Hilltown Sustainability Group will be presenting a Renewable Energy Self-Guided Site Tour of homes that utilize renewable energy in Ashfield, Chesterfield, Cummington, Plainfield, Williamsburg and Worthington. This free self-guided tour takes place on Sunday, October 21st from 10-4pm and will feature homes with solar photovoltaic, passive solar, solar hot water heat, grease car, wind, hybrid solar human-powered bicycle, masonry heater and more.

There will also be a Renewable Energy panel discussion this Sunday, October 14th, from 4:30pm-6:30pm. This panel discussion will give families the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of our neighbors who are already u sing renewable energy sources. The discussion will be at the Cummington Community House and a potluck will follow.
