Saturday – 09/08
8am – FAMILY RADIO – While traveling around town, tune-in to WXOJ 103.3 FM in Northampton, MA, from 8-10am to hear fabulous family-friendly music on Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child [All ages] (Free)
10am – MAKING ART – Free puppet workshop for kids and adults in Pittsfield. Click here for details.
GRANGE FAIR – Stop by the Williamsburg Grange Fair on Main Street in Williamsburg for displays of local food, handicrafts, things for kids, and an Italian Smorg supper at 6pm. [All ages] (Free/$)

5pm – ARTWALK – Easthampton Artwalk. Come see Carrie Ferguson, SingerSongwriter & native-Northamptoner, perform in PACE’s cafe, and stroll around town and take in all the art from Main St to Union St to Cottage St in Easthampton, MA. [Families] (Free)
7:30pm – COMMUNITY BIG BAND DANCE – After a fun day at Look Park or at the Charlemont Reggae Fest, head over to Ashfield for Elmer’s Big Band Dance. Fun for the entire family. Click here for details. [Families] ($)

Noon – TOWN PICNIC – The Town of Cummington will be hosting a town wide picnic at Pentingill Park off of Main Street in Cummington, MA. [Families] (Free)
1:30pm – CULTURAL CELEBRATION – Great Shofar Blast, a family-friendly Jewish New Year celebration will be happening at the Springfield Jewish Community Center in Springfield, at 1160 Dickinson St. 413.737.4313. [Families] (n/a)
2pm-4pm – HISTORICAL MUSEUM – Every Sunday through 10/21 families can take their children to the Blacksmith Shop Museum in Westhampton, MA, to explore their collection and learn a little about the history of our area. (Ages 5 & up) (Free)
2pm – LOCAL FOOD – Today is Raw Milk Dairy Day in Massachusetts. There are seven farms participating, including Sidehill Farm in Ashfield. Join them for a two-hour guided tour, including a tour of the pastures and the town’s oldest milking parlor. Come early and have a picnic lunch and sample their raw milk and yogurt. [Families] (Free)

10am – HERBAL PROGRAM – Hey parents, come learn how to make a High C Syrup and an Elderberry Syrup at Blazing Star Herbal School in Ashfield before the winter months bring in the sniffles and snotty noses.
