Q&A: Is there a community swimming pool in the hilltowns?
A: YES! The Worthington Swim Club!

In addition to all the swimming holes found in the Hilltowns, the Worthington Swim Club adds a swimming pool to our swimming options. It does cost a few clams along with a few community hours, but for many, a swimming pool is their preference.
Features and Ammenities:
- Members get a key that allows them to swim whenever they like.
- Lifeguards are on duty from noon-5pm.
- Swimming lessons will be offered.
- Fenced-in play area for little ones.
- Bathrooms and lounge chairs.
- Volleyball sand court.
- Plus, it has one of the last remaining diving boards around!

Fine Print:
Residents from surrounding towns are welcome to join. They are accepting applications for the Summer 2007 season. Along with a paid membership, every adult is expected to give five hours of community work related to the pool and upkeep.
Upcoming Event:
This Saturday is the pre-season clean-up of the pool at 9am Come join in and meet other members.
I am wondering if this is still an active/open pool for the summer of 2013? I am looking for something like this near Huntington for my family for this summer and would love any input!
The Worthington Swim Club is oficially open for the 2007 season today. New memers can join a the open house from 12-3 (or anytime)
A family membership is $275 and your key allows you to swim ANYTIME!!
Lifeguards are on duty MON-Fri. 11:30-5:30 and 4th grade & up aged children may be there with out a parent while a lifeguard is on duty.
A single membership (for 1) is $125
Each adult member must contribute to pool chores & upkeep.

It’s on Rte 112 ,heading south, just past the only set of lights in town. On your right, before the fire station.
There is a sign at the road….take the driveway up & pool is there. It’s an outdoor pool with a diving board. It’s fenced in and only members have keys.
PS (There is no Tennis anymore……but that is the official name)
There is a grassy field w. volley ball net & space for frisbee or what not.
