Trolly Rides for Hilltown Moms
Shelburne Fall’s Trolley Museum
The Shelburne Fall’s Trolley Museum 2007 season is underway – with rides, attractions and fun for the entire family. And as a special thank you to Mom’s, Mother’s can ride for free on Mother’s Day, May 13th !
Trolley Number Ten, the original trolley which ran across the historic Bridge of Flowers, will once again make its familiar “ding-ding” of the bell a sound that echo’s across the village and the Salmon Fall’s Glacial Potholes. The museum is situated just above the Bridge of Flowers and the Deerfield River in the former Buckland rail yard. Its growth and success over the years has been attributed to its easy proximity to the downtown area of scenic Shelburne Falls, as well as the many attractions and rides on both Trolley Number Ten and other working railroad equipment.
Children of ALL ages can ride the beautifully restored 1896 trolley car on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from Saturday May 5 until Sunday November 4, 2007. Hours are 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In July and August, the museum will also be open Mondays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
